• Dr. Crocker
    - Dr. Christine Crocker -
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Crocker received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 1997. She had been a clinician at the New Haven Central Hospital since 2006, and then joined the Veterinary Wellness Center team when we opened in June 2012. 

    Dr. Crocker has 3 dogs. Eve is a silky terrier, Jane is a miniature American Shepard, and Sally is a Border Collie. She also has a cat named Emelyn.

    Dr. Crocker's hobbies include a multitude of dog sports. Eve competes in agility and barn hunting, as well as lure coursing and is a TDI registered therapy dog. Jane has just started her agility career, herding, and passed her canine good citizen courses as well as her novice trick dog tests. Sally is getting involved too, and is proving to be a natural!

    - Dr. Morgan MacKay -
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Morgan grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada and received his BSc and DVM degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College. He worked for a mixed animal practice for 4 years caring for dog and cats as well as farm animals. Four years of delivering calves and fouls in the cold Canadian winter was rewarding but he decided to move to the US with his family to do strictly small animals in 2000. He works with the New Haven Central Hospital as well as the Veterinary Wellness Center doing both surgical and medical duties.

    When not doing veterinary work, Dr. Morgan loves to spend time with his kids and participating in all of their activities. He enjoys many outdoor activities where he can involve his dogs, Fisher and Jesse.

    - Dr. Lisa Mackay -
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lisa grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada where she obtained her Biology degree before attending veterinary school at the Atlantic Veterinary College. After graduation, she moved with her husband and small son to Connecticut. She has worked at the New Haven Central Hospital for 11 years and now also with the Veterinary Wellness Center. She is a member or the AVMA, CVMA, and is accredited in the state of CT.

    She has 4 children; Isaac, Elly, Aiden, and Claire. She has two dogs, Fisher and Jesse, and two cats, Jack and Eeyore. 

    She divides her spare time between her kid's busy schedules and tries to fit in time to see her friends, play tennis, and do some traveling as well.

    - Dr. Courtney Walsh -
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Walsh joined our team in 2022 and is also a postdoctoral associate affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine, possessing a robust background in comparative medicine, epidemiology, neurodegenerative diseases, and biostatistics. Her comprehensive research portfolio encompasses pharmacology and husbandry, reflecting her keen focus on understanding the environmental factors influencing the manifestation of Parkinson's disease in models of neurodegenerative diseases. Outside the confines of the laboratory and Veterinarian shifts, Dr. Walsh engages in competitive horse riding and explores her artistic pursuits.
